The AISB Board, when fully seated, is composed of 11 voting members and 4 non-voting members (The Honorary Chair, School Director, Faculty Representative and Student Representative). For the Board to make a decision, there must be a quorum of 7 members present (6 voting and 1 non-voting).

The Board operates at the strategic level, and its responsibilities, as outlined in Article IV of the AISB Constitution, are to:

- Provide an education for our students.

- Provide a constructive work environment for AISB’s personnel.

- Provide facilities for the operation of the school.

- Provide financial leadership

The School Board works in cooperation with the School Administration and Faculty, providing oversight and support, and maintaining the school’s long-term vision.

The Administration is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school and the School Director is the vital link between the AISB community and the School Board.

The Faculty is responsible for the delivery of AISB’s educational program.
