"AISB and the Board will ensure that the School is dedicated to excellence and will be committed to value for money management and delivering the highest standard as efficiently as possible."

AISB Policy Book, 3.03

Financial Stewardship

AISB has strong financial resources, superior facilities, and a highly-qualified faculty that delivers an outstanding international education to our students.

AISB is a private, not-for-profit educational institution. Unlike other international school models where personnel costs are funded by national governments or business enterprises, 95% of our operating revenue comes directly from tuition. At AISB, salaries and benefits represent 83% of our total operational expenses, which is the norm for international schools of our caliber.

In addition, the school maintains a building and development account funded by building or "seat" fees. The purpose of this account is to service outstanding debt on our facility and to fund capital improvements, construction and development.

The School Board is committed to maintaining the financial stability of AISB while positioning the school to meet its challenges and opportunities in the future.
